Fortune Ate

Were I a fortune cookie
What would I tell you
Life’s round every corner
There’s things you need to do
Smell the flowers, seize the day
Make each moment bright
Reflect and see your problems
As a chance to put things right
Labour is important
Rest is what you need
Love is all the matters
In yourself you must believe
Think only about others
Spread joy with each hello
Don’t worry about failure
Say yes and don’t say no
I’m not a fortune cookie
Words more spurious than wise
So I suggest don’t eat them
And don’t do what I advise
