To The Wind

The restless days are still ahead
Though calmer than my wandering youth
The hedon’s ways are far from dead
And balanced by the fragile truth
That life is lived at fullest speed
So every day be bold, be brash
And sometimes we just mustn’t heed
That cautious fear of being rash
Careering through with little planned
My heart desires the open sea
A rudder that was left unmanned
Too wild impetuous and free
To turn me on you must restart
The world is here but I must go
A wave from you a quick depart
If I arrive I’ll let you know
