Spark

A moment shared to ease the great divide
We come together seeking what we lack
Yet never seem to find our holy grail
The hunter gathers only what he lost
To be alone is destiny perhaps
To reach but never stretching fully out
For one fleet moment I saw in your eyes
Most vulnerable that man reflected back
Will I die as I have lived alone
A bridge that never built was left as plan
Imprisoned by the cells of my own skin
Divine the spark that soon will splutter out
