Maze

You left me just as I began the fall
But in the maze lost nothing save ourself
By missing I became a golden find
You showed me I possessed a hidden wealth
The pile of rubies I have long called heart
Now set so fair with tender gentle hand
The wit of diamond hard has warmer glow
With facets now so clearly in demand
My treasure chest was pillow for the head
My bed the swing and roundabout of lust
You left me filled with nothing standing still
With nothing but the honesty and trust
Bejewelled heart will beat the coming days
A lovers tangle evermore amaze
