Crack

Between us there is such a great divide
Or nothing but the thinnest of a line
And in the cracks our beauty feels divine
Let cultures clash as we enjoy collide

Remember who you are and then forget
Within our world existing out of bound
Discovery a happy place we found
Forbidden fruit to eat without regret

We cross the line delighted free of shame
Convention did not need to delegate
And here we are in sinful happy state
Not players yet we both enjoy the game

Don’t judge too harsh we all transgress in time
A teardrop on your cheek damp in my heart
And who can stop what never had a start
A thing of beauty cracked but still divine
