Hives

See the workers rushing here and there
Busy buzzing round with task to do
Monarchy the queen that rules the hive
Bottom of the ladder that is you
Plot a revolution cause a swarm
Dare to overthrow and start anew
Different queen would be your ruler then
Brand new hive but same routine for you
Pollen to collect from dawn to dusk
Honey to secrete and wax to mould
Never get to lay an egg yourself
Some old queen has everyone controlled
Bees are not a model for our lives
Thought so rash it brings me out in hives
