Words I feared when still in school
Faggot poofter dyke and queer
All of these I stake my claim
I’m not shopping I am here
Proud and strong I cruise the town
Oh my god I am so gay
Won’t tone down or straighten up
Hips like mine were born to sway
Why be beef when you can mince
Muscle Mary lift the shirt
Got it flaunt it queer as fuck
Words reclaimed no longer hurt
Bullied child now flaming queen
Ever fierce but never mean
