A Moor

The only thing that ties me down is you
Unfettered like a ship that’s lost the moor
I’ve no idea what I’m supposed to do
The sea uncharted who knows what’s in store
The waves so turbulent for waters young
A passion stirs quite deep within the hold
Let’s find a song and when the shanty’s sung
The story that is us will have been told
Are you the harbour master proud and true
Or buccaneer with gold to bury deep
A pirate map might lead me straight to you
Your arms the only treasure that I seek
My captain and my ship rolled into one
Amour we two when all is said and done
