Smoke And Mirrors

In outer space the man inside the moon
The lunatic whose kite is flying high
The piper’s paid so dance a merry tune
You won’t come down to earth no reason why
But in the darkest night it can be cold
Alone with just the music for a friend
The happiness you thought that you’d been sold
Was just some smoke and mirrors in the end
Reality is what you need to find
To live with feet quite firm upon the ground
Allow the sun to infiltrate your mind
I’ll catch you if you fall when coming down
The carnival is over what a night
Tomorrow is your future shining bright
