Stone

A void within my chest there is no beat
Emotionless I feel as if I’m stone
The music feeds a lover incomplete
A rhythm isn’t dance when your alone
So fluid you are water when you move
A silky sense of sex it emanates
I feel so rough because I feel you smooth
The cracks and furrows riven by the fates
I’m in full flow and still I feel you soothe
You waterfall me home where I cascade
And finally with nothing left to prove
You take my weight and fears are all allayed
You fashion stone and make for us a dock
The rhythm of the water makes me rock
