Sea And Sky

A river flows it’s going to the sea
The tree will reach for sky by growing tall
And when I think of things to do with me
I think that I don’t know too much at all
For do I have a purpose or a goal
A task to do a place that I must go
I wonder if I’ll ever feel a whole
A sense that I’m not doing things for show
The curse of being human is unique
The trees and rivers aren’t the same as me
And every different person has to seek
The reason they are here and who to be
And from the sea I stare into the sky
No answer when I ask the question why
