So over your rainbow

Those stormy clouds the day you said hello
And grey again the shade of our goodbye
And in between what colours did we know
The rainbow sherbet kept us in the sky
And here I am with ruby feet on earth
No longer caring where your rocket lands
My parting gift to you the widest berth
Some other munchkin has you in his hands
And you will fly as long as there is space
The wizard lost in Oz is high again
But friend of Dorothy you have to face
Reality is made of joy and pain
Do you believe there is no place for gray
That life is technicolor every day
