Western Man

Isambard’s kingdom the lands of the west
The wonderful railway from God we would jest
The down at heel fishing towns struggling to thrive
Everything closed up before half past five
The power of Bristol the jewel in the crown
The sweep of the bridge and the side of the down
A man of the west my heart stirs when I see
The counties and people who are part of me
