Mother Universe

Mother all that you have given me
The everything you are and yet you too
Creation of the mother grand I see
And mother so it goes the ages through
A product of a line but quite unique
My parts assembled choose how they combine
Inside of me the provenance I seek
My ancestors exist with me in time
And life began so long before my birth
And long after I’m gone this world will be
And each of us are small but each has worth
We touch and things they change so subtly
Oh mother universe I will become
Apart but yet a part of everyone
