The offer I made
Was sadly delayed
You wanted your freedom you said

So I walked away
Could no longer stay
No longer required in your bed

So fickle are you
Got bored with the new
Delicious yet vapid young thing

And now you return
You say that you’ll earn
Respect and you offer the ring

You thought I would wait
That I wouldn’t mate
But I found a love connoisseur

Take one look and go
And just so you know
He’s twice the man you ever were
