More Or Less

So unimpressed he texted, took a call
Redundant in the other chair I wait
I wonder why he came along at all
Perhaps he’s disappointed with his date
The waiter comes, I ask him for the check
Uneasy silence walks us to the door
The night it couldnt be more of a wreck
But then outside he asks if I want more
So many men are dull and do not think
I wonder why he wants to share his bed
Was awkward when we tried to share a drink
Perhaps this night looks different in his head
My turn to be the one who’s unimpressed
I want more too but he is so much less
