Everything I Want

The everything I want has broken down
He’s lying there and looking so sedate
I begged him not to go to crazy town
He realised but now it’s much too late
The everything I want’s not what I need
He pushes and is always on the pull
He broke my heart and watched me slowly bleed
His cup is always emptied never full
The everything I want was never mine
He took my love and twisted it around
His hate my love they soon became entwined
The bed we shared was stony barren ground
The everything I want now cries for me
My love is lost in his insanity
