But

Take

But it is given.

Have

But it is shared.

Here

But you were driven.

Safe

But you were scared.

Held

But only freely.

Love

But do not bind.

Leave

But don’t forget me.

Gone

But on my mind.

Crumble

Written in the dust of hope

Was help

For those who still aspire

My dream crumbled but

In the debris a broken moment

Where I felt a god

Before I was made forever mortal

The honey sweet in

The milk of human blandness

The bitter pill of a life swallowed

Extra ordinary

If yesterday were mine again and time could be replayed

What different steps along the path would I decide to take

But history cannot be changed like sheets my bed is made

And so remember live each day for everything’s at stake

Tomorrow’s sun is never known horizon can’t be seen

The future shoots into the dark destiny’s a risk

But I am optimistic of the up and coming scene

For there is a not a part of what’s to come that should be missed

However let the truth be said today is where I’m at

My now is here and happening I’m in my proper place

The past should be a lesson it can teach me how to act

So I’ll enjoy each moment with a smile upon my face

How wonderful that life is real and things are what they seem

Be present in each moment for existing’s not a dream

Shine

I shine a light into the darkness of existence

I shine a light to help my brother see the plan

I shine a light that reaches you across the distance

I shine a light to tell you this is who I am

I shine a light and when you shine I feel the power

We shine a light together stronger than alone

We shine a light into the very darkest hour

And with the light the lost can find their way back home

Pulse

Stop to feel a heartbeat
Everything is fine
Life is ticking over
In the hands of time
Moments lost in chaos
Wonderful release
After seek reflection
Time to make some peace
Life it should be balanced
Up and sometimes down
Swing or roundabout as
Merry we go round
Future's never certain
Yesterday is gone
Feel the rhythm pulsing
Moving you along
